There are 2 services that you’ll need for a working site - a domain plus a website hosting plan for it. Any time you type the domain name in your Internet browser, you see the content that’s uploaded in the website hosting account, but if that domain isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it's parked. To put it differently, the Internet domain is registered and you're its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it may be directed to any other URL of your choice. The advantage of parking a domain is that you can keep it and make sure that nobody else is going to take it. In the meantime, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted domain address inside your account. You can also park domain names if you have a .com, for example, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main web site in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

With each and every cloud hosting plan that we offer you will be able to park as many domain addresses as you want and in contrast to other companies, we don't have any service fees for that. Of course, this can be done just for domain names that are registered through us because parking a domain is possible only through the registrar, but not through the host unless you have both services with only one company. We have a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can easily park and un-park domain names, pick one of the templates that we provide and add custom text to it, or forward a domain to a URL of your preference. If you host a parked domain address, our system will modify its name servers and set up a folder in the File Manager automatically. You can also set filters and see only the parked or only the hosted domain addresses, that will allow you to manage them really easy.
